A walk before work

Today I took a short walk before heading off to work. This is the best part about living where we do. Worship on an mp3 player is so good and refreshing. Thank you Jesus for this blessing.

How not to interview

So for REI I am helping with spring hiring and interviewing of new candidates. I was making a phone call yesterday and dialed up this guy to have an initial contact with him. This is how it goes.....

Hello this is Rob from REI is this Josh? (Josh) Ya this is Josh. (Rob) Good well do you have a few minutes for some questions about your resume? (Josh) I'm actually shopping right now at Best Buy. Can you call back in 30 minutes? (Rob) Sure, ill try a little later.

So I play his game and call back. Horrible interview. And the end result ....Hello Shredder to Josh's resume. Sorry Josh......

A Beautiful Wife

Last night, thanks to Groupon, we got an incredible deal on this little place in Encinitas. We had a great time. The long wait for a wife is all well worth it. A best friend, companion, lover, love being married.

First MOD shift

So yesterday I had my first MOD (manager on duty) shift at REI. This is a shift for up coming and future managers to get the practice of running the store. It was a fun busy eight hours for me with tons of walking. For this shift give you a set of keys for the day, breif you on whats new and turn you loose.

On a Thursday we talk to random locals at the beach.

On a Thursday we pet the Dogs

On a Thursday we imagine what it would be like owning a house this big, but then are very content to only have to vacum our small place

Sometimes on a Thursday we have friends over for dinner such as sister Katie here

A Blessing in Disquise

So here at the Price household we are blessed. About 3 weeks ago the Impala got hit by a trash truck. We decided to pocket the money that the trash company gave us and fix the car ourselves. I just fnished it tonight. I heat welded the bumper back together, redid some wiring for the headlight, getting an alignment on wednesday and she will be ready to go.

Car still looks good for 161,000 miles on it.

A San Diego Sunset

Last Thursday we went down to the Buckles for dinner. We had to stop and take some pics of the sunset. What a picture of God's creation.
