Guys night

Two nights ago we had guys night at the price household. Just three of us but we had fun. We did it up right with meat, stir fry and angeled eggs. Jon and Trevor are great friends and I am blessed to have them around.

A Drive to the Border for Parts

Today I had off, and since Ana is out of town for a few days I thought it was a prime opportunity to head to the biggest salvage yard I have ever seen and get some parts for our two cars. This place is pretty massive, and it has really new smashed up cars. There are like 20 different yards, which they all work together to find you the part that you need. It was a very cool experience.  

A 117 Mile Bike Ride

Tonight I am tired but have this over whelming feeling of satisfaction as I know that I set a new record for myself. 117 miles on the bike in one day. This is 1 mile over my record last year of 116. Not much but it is more. Today three of us REI guys boarded the Amtrak at 6:10am which took us up to Irvine. We unloaded and started our journey back towards home. I must say these endurance sports are highly addictive. The second winds, the muscle cramps, the one small crash in the parking lot are all worth it in the end. Now I am heading to bed early but tonight's sleep will be the best yet.

Here is our latest supply of Hammer Nutrition. This stuff is so good. Tomorrow some of us REI guys are going to do a long ride (120 miles) and this will help us get through it.

Dan and Alisha Night

Two nights ago we had our good friends over. Their names are Dan and Alisha. Such a great feeling to be closer to the people we love.

Vince and Judy Treat

On the last night that Vince and Judy were here they treated us to a very nice meal. We really enjoyed seeing them again and hope to one day go and see them in Iowa.

Hwy 67/Miramar Airbase Ride

One thing that I love about riding up the 67 is the fact that there are no people out there and there is peace and quiet

Kenny & Noels BBQ reception

Yesterday Kenny and Noel had there BBQ reception at a park here in SD.What a great time we had. Uncle Vince and Aunt Judy even flew in for the event. They are some of our favorite people to be with.

Last night ana and I went down to the airport to pick up Uncle Vince and Aunt Judy from the airport. While we were waiting we took these photos

Bike Rack and Breakfast

Since we don't live in a massive place storage for the two horses needed to happen. Ana and I went to the hardware store and put together a rack. Homemade and sturdy. Also I included and shot of breakfast. Now that I have been riding to work a person needs a nice breakfast.

Crosspointe Leadership Meeting

So we are already taking advantage of being close to church. Tonight we joined in on a leadership meeting at church. So so nice to be close to this place. Love it.

 

Moving Day

Yesterday we moved. Moving is such a long day but a solid day. Ana and I were blessed because our friend Sean came with his truck and help us move. We managed to get all of our stuff in one load.
