Out on the Town with Leona

Last Sunday us two couples were treated to a very nice dinner by Leona. She is the Girl's third cousin. She is loving, sharp as a tack, still drives, and is 94 years old. I think her secret is that she plain enjoys life. She never worries to much and is very peaceful. Jesus is also the lover of her life.

It was a very nice treat to be with her.

The two love birds. Crazy how we will be at a year before to long. Love you babe.

To Santa Cruz

At 5pm Ana and I took off to Santa Cruz. We arrived at 2am. It was a fun drive filled with coffee.

The next day Timmy opened a gift from us. We got him a kite.

Sister Carrie also got us some tea. Very good stuff.

Timmy is such a cute kid. Blessed to have him as a nephew

Dad had some new firearms and I had to check them out.

It was very rewarding to see Timmy at the beach for the first time.

The family here. Grandma is looking very good.

On the way home we stopped at Hearst Castle. A very worth our while tour.

The Birthday Ride

At 345 in the morning I took off on my birthday ride. I set a goal to ride 200 miles. This was an all day event, which friends joined in on. I made it to 150 miles that day which ended at 5pm. A great time seeing how far the body will go.

Here is Roy from REI. Great to have him on board

Here is Ana and Maggie chatting it up

And Juan came on his full suspension mtn bike.

Ana got a scrape and bruise from the ride

I wore this sign that was made by my wife. I received allot of support from the cars

Birthday Suprises

One the morning of my birthday, my sweet wife gave me some gifts. What is on my head are new boxers that I needed quite bad.

Also I got some curve for men cologne.

That same night when I got home I found this sign on the door. Ana had prepared dinner and we watched a movie. It was fun.

Then the next night we all went to Trevor and Amber's for the official party.

First Pampered Chef Party

Recently Ana has begun selling Pampered Chef products. Tonight was the first party where the ladies got to use all the cool kitchen products. I am proud of Ana for working full time and pulling this off.

We had two couples over, Dan and Alisha, Travis and Nancy. These are some great people to know. Both couples are planning to eventually move to CO. We are just the first ones to go.

Ana giving a demonstrating of the new cheese grater.

This was very good.

Tuesday Evening Ride

Tuesday after work Ana and I headed to our mapped out loop for my birthday ride. We wanted to pre ride the route. This is 15 mile lap that I will ride to hopefully make it to 200 miles on Sunday. A personal goal of mine

I made this device that holds the bikes up right in the Jeep when we take them places. It worked great

This is Chamois Butter. You put this stuff where you wipe and oh does it help with riding soreness. Worth every penny.

I love how my wife puts up with my crazy ideas of biking crazy places. Thanks babe.
