Barr Trail Hike

Today since I get weekends off now, we decided to hike part way up Pikes Peak .

I think we were over due to move back to the mountains

Colorado Springs

The 4th and Final Day

On the fourth and final day of traveling we are more then ready to be home in the Springs. On this day we cross the Colorado Border and begin our accest into the rockies. I beleive we got about 5mpg over th passess.  

We made a pit stop in Glennwood Springs. A great little town

Day 3 of Move (Utah)

On day three we arrive in Utah

The drive through Utah was breath taking.

At the end of the day we arrived at out hotel in Moab. This was the hardest day of driving because of how narrow the roads were for the truck and trailer.

The 2nd Day of Moving

The second day of our travels led us to Williams AZ where we took the train to the rim of Grand Canyon. This is great little town to visit

This is the old Steam Engine that they use a few times a year. Our train was pulled by a diesel engine.

On the way back our train got held up by some robbers.

This was a pretty fun part watching them take change from people. I had 50 cents ready but they didn't bother with me. It was a good day.

The 1st Day Move

This is our little friend named Mustard. he was a slow moving friend but was very faithful all the way to CO

This is the set up. It was very real to have everything a person owns in one rolling machine.

We drove through the desert to Williams AZ. Beautiful place.





That night we got into Williams. He was some salad and soup at the Best Western. We were very blessed to use the REI rate for this hotel

It was a little colder in the mountains.

To The Zoo Before We Leave

Before we left SD Kenny and Noel blessed us and took us to the zoo. I had never gone before, so it was a nice way to spend the last day in San Diego.
