Smoking Laptop

Also in other news our laptop decided to take up the habit of smoking. This is an odd thing since Ana and I don't smoke. But when ever Mr. Laptop is turned on he begins to puff a nice stream of grey smoke. Ana and I have determined to NOT invest in therapy for Mr. Laptop but to let him kill himself by smoking. This is cruel I know but when Mr. Laptop is so old we decided to follow our president and cut his care. Good bye Mr. Laptop.

The Thorn

Yes it is Thorn season and my dear wife is out until the 7th.  It has not been all roses but we are very  grateful for this time that she gets to fill some holes that the Thorn has. Right now Ana is in Nashville and then on Monday her and the team fly to Seattle. I have also put in several hours helping build set pieces for the production and last week I was honored to attend a show and see  my work on stage. That was pretty cool.  

REI Treat

Tonight while Ana was working I went to REI to spend our annual dividend. I got some bike tools and stuff for some riding. It's always a trat to buy from REI. I am shocked at the prices now that I am no longer an employee. Where's my 50% off?

Flinch at the Bolens

A few weeks ago Ana and I went over to the Bolen's house for a game of Flinch. It's a very old game but enjoyable. We had a good time.  

It's the Little Things

Tonight Ana is working at the Thorn. This season of our lives she has been putting in the hours and working the long hard days. Sometimes I forget the little things that mean so much to her. But tonight I did a little something. She will be gone for two weeks and I will miss her. Love you babe.

Sallie Mae no More

This letter we received today was from Sallie Mae, It stated that we had paid off all of the student loans and the remaining balance is a big fat 0!!!! Thank you Jesus for providing the funds to wipe this out of our lives. We kicked old sallie to the curb.

Week Two of Church

Even though I am more than a week behind in blogging I still want to share about what is happening with church. I say "church" because we don't have a name yet but that doesn't matter as long as Jesus is there and the focus is on Him. We are loving a small crowd and being raw.

The kiddos are in the room next door and are well taken care of.

The first week

Last Sunday was the first sunday of the new church

Shotgun time

Last Sunday Ana and I headed up to the mountains to spend time with Brian and Patty. We also shot the shotgun that dad got for our wedding.

This is a good man here and a great encourager. We dont look very mountainy becasue we were headed to church.
