A Date to Celebrate

Last night Ana and I went out for desert to celebrate new opportunities, such as this job and life it's self. 

It always good to clean up and be with my bride. 

Wedding and House Cleaning

Today Ana and I went to a wedding of Ana's old co-worker. The only thing wrong today was that we thought that it started at 3pm but come to find out it started at 1pm. So we arrive to find them in the middle of the Father Daughter dance. Sorry guys.

Here we are, so bright and beautiful.  

Then after the wedding we finished up a cleaning job for a custom home that was being finished today. The owners are moving in on Monday. That's me mopping away. Yes a man with a mop.

This kitchen is huge. It about the same size as our apartment. I would hate to pay the water bill for the place. However it is a beautiful home.

Pikes Peak Hike.

Also in July we went on a church hike up pikes peak. Good group of people here. Sad that only three of us made it to the top. 

Ana is a trooper, actually she did better than I did. I was the fat out of shape one this time

Santa Cruz Trip

It has been some time since I was on this blog, but most recently was our trip to CA, so I must tell. Dad was most kind to offer one of his pickups for us to take home to CO. So I jumped on the opportunity. We bought some airfare and headed to the west coast. IT was SOO nice to get a little break from the grind and spend some time with my beautiful bride/ 

So Happy Happy. This is our Fav. spot to eat mexican food. 

Mr Toots is also a desired spot to stop. 

This was probably the most relaxing time, sitting watching the sail boats. 

On a walk with Grandma around the campus. So peaceful there.

Rico's

Tonight Ana and I are at Rico's celebrating our new business. We have had a very full week and have lots to learn about business and running it well. We are on this adventure together and are willing to both put in the work to make it happen. We are thankful for this opportunity that God has given us.

On Sunday Lisa snapped this pic of the girls. So cute. Gives us the itch to have one, a girl or a boy it doesnt matter which.

Stevie and Ana

Last week Ana took Stevie off to breakfast to celebrate her birthday. Stevie is set on going to the Aire Force Academy and I beleive that she will get there. This is very motivated.

New Porch

This last week the winds were so bad that it tore one of our sun shades off the porch and landed in the downstairs neighbors porch. Ooops. So Ana and I decided to reconstruct.

We purchased some cedar picket fencing and Colt O. and I build a wee little fence. Much better now and it smells great to. The left side is a gate so it opens up for a view.  

Fire in Black Forest.

Today is hot and a bad fire has started in the Black Forest area. Many homes have been consumed by the fire. We are praying for God's intervention.

We had to evacuate the Oconnells home and watch from a distance.

The Great Sand Dunes Camping Trip

Last Weekend Ana and I join with the church on a camping trip to the dunes. It was fun.
