Luke's First Fish

A local non profit in town put on a father and son fishing for the city. Luke and I went out tonight and really enjoyed our time. 

He's Growing

Yesterday Ana sent me this pic of Luke. He sure likes his sunglasses and is growing like crazy. 

A Evening Out

After a long week of work we went downtown to the local ice cream shop last night, very fun spot. Then church today. Nice day out today. 

A crane lift

This weekend we finished up a crane lift, installing some new RTUs downtown bozeman. This was the first crane lift I was in charge of. A little stressful but it went smooth. 63hr work week. 

New Ride

Yesterday was a nice day to be out. We got in a hike to Hylite Resevoir and tested out Luke's new bike carrier and Ana's bike.  Cousin Elicia was gracious to let us put them to good use. Luke did really well with it. More rides to come.

A coat of paint

I just finished early this morning painting a old dresser we got out of storage from the ranch.  Here's the before and after.  I'm well pleased with the results. 

Ambient Shop

I appriciate a clean shop. Ambient is strict on clean up. It's fun to use the sheet metal equipment. Getting better at it.

Was blessed to find a bed liner in great shape on craigeslist.  And it was free. Thanks God. 

A good weekend.

This weekend was a great time snowshoeing, working on the car, exploring a new church and planning a bachalor party next month in LA.  Now onto Monday. 

Late night wrenching

Last night I spent some time greasing, rotating tires, and patching a muffler.  This is how a person gets another year out of a muffler. 

Fresh Oil and a Helper

Today is Sunday. Ana had to do some work so Luke an I changed the oil on the jeep. He loves doing exactly what I do. I also have this wierd love for clean engines, so we cleaned up the engine. I must get that from Dad. 

Bozeman Friends.

Tonight we hungout with some new Bozeman friends from church. Brian and Shannon.  It's very nice to be getting into community here. Luke even has a little friend who gave him a fire fighters hat. 

Snowshoeing

It has been too long since I've blogged. We are now in Bozeman and loving it. After getting settle in and on routine we ventured out to do some snow shoeing. Nice being less then 30 min from fantastic snow. Luke did amazing. We stopped for lunch and made coffee.  Love that Ana is willing to just go for it.

More studying.

I have taken on another certification course to take.  This one is a national recognized cert that will only drive more knowledge and pay.  Came to my faithful Starbucks early before Ana and Luke were up.  Love the mornings.  

Odyssey.

Today we visited Focus on the Family. Luke got to meet Whit and see Odessey. 

Hunting.

Last night I got home from hunting. We eight guys had a good time chasing the elk we saw everyday.  Joe shot and hit a nice bull but got away. I had to come home early due to class.  I enjoyed being out in the wilderness area. Fall colors are brilliant right now.   

  

Dan and Alisha

This past weekend we spent time with Dan, Alisha and Colton. They were visiting from SC. We went to the zoo again and had a great time. This time we saw allot of the animals up close.
