Tophs Birthday

Last Month was Toph's Birthday, this is one great man that always gives more than he takes,  and serves beyond his energy level. 

Fences and A Man's Hangout

Today, to finish my work week, I completed the Aire-Master Fencing project. Our goal was to have a secure area to park the service vans in. I built two gates, cleaned out the concrete area and put up razor wire. Thanks to all of Uncle Leon's training on fencing, it was natural and it brought me back to the good old days except that razor wire is more for humans than cows. 

I told terry "we are ready for the prisoners". 

And to top it off I had to stop by Lowes to look things over,. Meaning I had to drool on the tools. I must be getting to that age. 

Bobcat

A few months ago my cousin trapped this bobcat in one of his many traps in central Montana. I thought it was worth sharing. This one set a record for its size. 

Spring Snow

Yesterday morning I drove to Denver in the spring snow.  A person would think that it is still winter by the amount that   has come. I 25 was SLOOOOW going. 

DIA all Night

Last night Ana and I spend all night servicing Aire-Master deodorizers at DIA.  We usually don't work all night but we thought that we would try it.  About 3am our bodies were calling out for bed. But we got it done.

Evening Meatloaf ate in Silence

Tonight is a sad night. One of Ana's dear friends went home to be with her Maker. She was only 20 years old. Tonight we sat in more silence than talking because of the complete shock that this happened. A simple spider bite that took her life is unimaginable.

Gym Time

I am so thankful that my wife loves to go to the gym as much as I do if not more. As I go along from day to day it hits me how I just love the little things that she does and who she is. Love doing life with you babe.

A SNOWY Day

Yesterday we had an icey snowy day here in Colorado. As I was driving to Denver I saw several bad accidents. However I was blessed to get my work done and get home safely.

The Thorn Tour

Here are a few pics from Ana's travels with the Thorn. She had a great time but came home sick and tired. It is so so good to have her home but was hard to see her get worn down that far. I am proud of her and all she put into the Thorn. She is amazing. Also she got to get her picture taken with Jesus and an angel

A Powerful Night

Tonight was a great night at the Cassula household. My wife and I always love going over and spending some time with this cool family. Renato was the foreman at the painting company from back in the day. He is taking his family this fall and moving down to Brazil as full time missionaries. Such a peace that these people have.

A Saturday Drive

Yesterday Ana and I went up to Winter Park for some tubing. More than the tubing and fun Ana and I had a chance to reconnect and get away from the hassle of the day to day. The mountains do it for us.

Packing for Tubing

Tonight we are packing for some tubing at Winter Park tomorrow. It will be a fun time to spend with my hubby.

An Accent Wall

While Ana was gone on Thorn Tour I painted an accent wall in our apartment. I don't think that I am supposed to do any painting but I did. Ana was very happy with how it dressed the place up.

Ride Across CO Planned

Tonight it was such a beautiful evening that I went for a short ride. Since we now live in a snow country there is less good times to ride during the winter. However, Ana and I have been getting excited to ride this summer. Which soon will be my birthday. So in September we will embark to ride across CO. It's a Happy Birthday to myself, all three hundred miles of it.

Doggies

Next door to us there is a crossfit gym, we share the same building. Today there were some very fine looking dogs. One was a little wolf dog and the other was a Bernese Mountain Dog. Someday it would be our dream to get such a dog.

Smoking Laptop

Also in other news our laptop decided to take up the habit of smoking. This is an odd thing since Ana and I don't smoke. But when ever Mr. Laptop is turned on he begins to puff a nice stream of grey smoke. Ana and I have determined to NOT invest in therapy for Mr. Laptop but to let him kill himself by smoking. This is cruel I know but when Mr. Laptop is so old we decided to follow our president and cut his care. Good bye Mr. Laptop.

The Thorn

Yes it is Thorn season and my dear wife is out until the 7th.  It has not been all roses but we are very  grateful for this time that she gets to fill some holes that the Thorn has. Right now Ana is in Nashville and then on Monday her and the team fly to Seattle. I have also put in several hours helping build set pieces for the production and last week I was honored to attend a show and see  my work on stage. That was pretty cool.  

REI Treat

Tonight while Ana was working I went to REI to spend our annual dividend. I got some bike tools and stuff for some riding. It's always a trat to buy from REI. I am shocked at the prices now that I am no longer an employee. Where's my 50% off?

Flinch at the Bolens

A few weeks ago Ana and I went over to the Bolen's house for a game of Flinch. It's a very old game but enjoyable. We had a good time.  

It's the Little Things

Tonight Ana is working at the Thorn. This season of our lives she has been putting in the hours and working the long hard days. Sometimes I forget the little things that mean so much to her. But tonight I did a little something. She will be gone for two weeks and I will miss her. Love you babe.
