A birthday dinner

Last night Ana and I went to a very nice resturant. It was fondue at the Mona Lisa I had the wild game selection which had elk, duck, fish, and some other kinds. We had a good time and fun to et dressed up. Happy birthday babe. Love you. 

A Hike

We recently went on a hike with our new pack for Luke he is now just big enough to fit in it. I can already invision some longer hikes this summer

Luke's First Christmas

What a great season we had with Christmas. We went to allot of parties and connected with some new people. Now the new year is upon us. 

Coffee Choices

If Ana and I admitted we had a vice it would be coffee. I got up this morning early to study for finals and got our third choice out for making coffee.  There is actually a fourth choice not shown.  Each coffee maker does have a  taste to it. It's been my fuel lately. 

Getting Certs Done

It is coming to a close for this fall semester. It has been a big push to work, have family time and take five classes.  But it is rewarding to get two certs so far. There are many more to come and one big one next month.  The fatigue is all worth it.  

Christmas Tree Hunting.

This weekend we went on a deadly Christmas tree hunt.  We came out succsesful.  I'm not sure if Luke knew what was going on but he was entertained by all the colored lights.  However even if he isn't excited about Christmas at least his parents are excited for him.

Today after church we had lunch with Aaron and Bobbie Joe and Luke was the star of lunch.  

A perfect helper.

Yesterday on the job sight I had a little helper from the homeowners. He loved the ladder.  

Wortham at the park

Yesterday we went to Denver and meet up with the Wortham family.  It was fun to catch up and see each other's family.  Aaron is in full time computar programming school. Fun day. 

A Hike to Devils Head

Today Ana, Luke and I went west of castle rock and hiked to the last fire look out that is maned in CO it was one of the coolest hikes we have been on. Luke did great all the way up, with a few milk breaks of coarse. It topped out at 9700ft

An evening hike.

After a nice long day of work we ended it with a hike on the trails next to our place so so nice to live next to a preserve.  I have a beautiful son and wife. Am blessed

Early this morning we put Luke into the Bumbo for the first time  He did very good. What a little man we have.  

Retreat to the Mountains

Yesterday Ana Luke and I retreated to the mountains to recharge our minds and get away from people.  We love CO 

A night out

Last night Ana and I went out late (8pm) and went to a small music coffee house place and listened to some great guitar playing.  Thanks to the Birches watching Luke we had the night to ourselves. 

Stuck in the mnts.

Last Saturday Ana, Luke and I went for a drive to woodland park for Luke's first little road trip into the hills.  While we were there a mudslide happened and the road shut down. We took the 3hr + long way home through the mnts. Very fun adventure.  We also went on the skyline dr out side of canon city.  Very fun day.

Before church today I had some time to burn so I went for a hike/walk to this mountain/hill behind church.  What a great view with some Hillsong playing. 

July 5th chill out

To celebrate the 4th we took our canopy to America the Beautiful park and did nothing. The beards and the Greens came and fellowshiped with us.  What a great time with community. And what kid wouldn't like a giant fountain to play in.

So last sat Ana and I went to a three hr diaper class to learn all about cloth diapers and the art of going old school to save $$.  Here is Luke in his new apparel. We'll see if this works for us.
