New Employment

I am very happy to say that I will be starting work for Holbrook Service in two weeks. This is the premier commercial company in town and somehow I find favor to find a position.  I am blessed and thankful. 

Film shoot.

On Sunday Ana coordinated a film shoot for a workout product being advertised. They got access to a whole school and shot for 10 hrs. Pretty cool experience for her. I likes the drone they used for the aerial shot.  

A Great Montana Trip

Today we just arrived home from the great state of MT. We took our friends the Greens with us. And today when we arrived home we are still all friends amazing. ;). One of my highlights was getting my old blue truck started up again and seeing everyone we love. 

Deer Sausage.

This week we received our deer sausage back. Last night we cooked some up and it was yummy.  

Luke's First Incline

This morning we took Luke on his first incline.  He did very well except when we got to the last half mile on the way down he had a melt down. We got through it though

Red Rocks

Today for a Sat morning we headed to Red Rocks and did a few mile hike. What a great place to live where we have open space so close. Blessed. 

Fresh Doors and mantel.

To end the week off we sprayed out some doors and resurfaced a mantel. Came out very nice. The customer is inlove with the job and us.  So that's always a good thing ;). 

Boarding and 16th mall

Today I took off snowboarding with Brian H and Ana went to the 16th mall in Denver with Sarah G. A great day on the mountain. Luke went with Ana but I was was seeing allot of tiny skiers today. And it got my mind wondering when to start Luke.  Maybe next year. ;)

Controls class

Tonight for our motor controls class we visited Colorado Motors down town and got a tour. The owner mike gave us great order to follow when diagnosing motors.

New Speakers

So last night after we left the hutchisons from a great dinner.  We three went and picked out some new speakers for the jeep. Since we have been married only one speaker has worked. So I stayed up till this morning and rewired and replace the speakers.  Very nice now.  

Kinder Care

Tonight Ana, Luke and I went to Kinder Care to check out some part time day care.  We liked what we saw and Luke is enrolled. He'll start there this wed and more as Ana schedule progresses.  Here's a pic of Luke all bundled up. It been snowing allot lately. 

Luke in a Box

Lately when we get Lukes toys out he is more interested in the box. He loves his box so much he'll empty it out and just play with that. Kinda funny. 

More code books

Today I got in some more study books for my next codes test in June.  Ana and Luke don't really find it that exciting to hear me read to them about gas pressures and vent sizes ;) El Paso county is still testing on 09

So this week Ana picked up a client named Eyeclectic Media. Seems like a good opportunity and most of the work will be from home.  Good job babe 

A Broken Gear

Today on a Sunday afternoon. I did some necessary repairs on the pickup. First I took the steering column apart and tightened up the loosesness it had. Second the defrost stopped working. Come to find out the actuator box that switches the flap to defrost had one broken cog and was causing it to bind and not rotate. Fixed the cog and saved some $$$ (Ana always likes that) yay for having defrost again. 

Mech 4

Today I got my mechanical 4 liscence in the mail. This means I can work under a liscenced mechanical contractor in the hvac field.  However since I am already studying gas codes I'm going to take my mechanical contractors test for the next step higher I just have to be in the field for some time before I can become referred by a hvac company that I know what I'm doing. But I can do the studying now to get the test out of the way. Head knowledge now then field experience to come.

Today Ana sent me this pic of Luke. They went for a walk since tomorrow it will be snowy. Look at those blue eyes 

Hiking in Cheyenne State Park

This afternoon the Greens and us three went for hike in Cheyenne. Fun area. The mountain in the back ground is NORAD. Went inside one time a long time ago with Ted haggard and the new life team. Fun memories from the old times and creating new ones. 

Morning Studying

This is how I figured out how to spend the weekend with the family. One must get to Starbucks at 5am and knock out the studying.
